I met the author of this book in the community. We discussed children and exposure to guns and violence throughout the world. The author is very knowledgeable and passionate about this topic. Therefore, I bought the book in support of her.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this topic was conveyed for a children's book. The illustration is colorful and the story line is written well. I'd recommend it to parents and educators.
